Rize Sports is excited to host the 2026 USA Basketball Gold Camp in Pittsburgh.
USA Basketball Gold Camps are invite-only youth basketball programs for boys and girls entering grades 6–9 during the 2025–2026 academic year. The camps emphasize advanced player development through skill-building drills, small-group game situations, full 5-on-5 competition, and activities focused on leadership and character growth.
These camps are intended for athletes whose abilities align with the advanced stage of the USA Basketball Player Development Model. Participation requires an application and acceptance into the program.
Athletes who are admitted and successfully register will receive official USA Basketball apparel and equipment to use during camp, including a jersey, shorts, and a backpack. Participants will also be provided with lunch and/or dinner for the extended camp sessions.
The extended Gold Camp sessions last two full days.
The main purpose of the Gold Camps is to help athletes enhance their basketball skills and achieve personal growth while competing in a challenging environment. Although these camps are separate from the USA Basketball Junior National Team selection process, standout participants who demonstrate national-team-caliber ability may be considered for future USA Basketball trials or training camp opportunities.
Participants will be provided with a Gold Camp uniform package that includes a jersey, shorts, and a backpack, all of which must be worn during camp activities. Athletes are responsible for covering or providing the following:
- Travel to and from the camp facility
- Accommodations and lodging
- Camp registration costs
- Additional athletic clothing and basketball footwear (USA Basketball supplies only the jersey and shorts)
- A personal water bottle for hydration throughout camp sessions

Girls Extended Camp – Aug. 13-14
Boys Extended Camp – Aug. 15-16
