SUMMARY:USA Basketball Gold Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:Rize Sports is excited to host the 2026 USA Basketball Gold Camp in Pittsburgh. \n\nUSA Basketball Gold Camps are invite-only youth basketball programs for boys and girls entering grades 6–9 during the 2025–2026 academic year. The camps emphasize advanced player development through skill-building drills\, small-group game situations\, full 5-on-5 competition\, and activities focused on leadership and character growth. \nThese camps are intended for athletes whose abilities align with the advanced stage of the USA Basketball Player Development Model. Participation requires an application and acceptance into the program. \nAthletes who are admitted and successfully register will receive official USA Basketball apparel and equipment to use during camp\, including a jersey\, shorts\, and a backpack. Participants will also be provided with lunch and/or dinner for the extended camp sessions. \nThe extended Gold Camp sessions last two full days. \nThe main purpose of the Gold Camps is to help athletes enhance their basketball skills and achieve personal growth while competing in a challenging environment. Although these camps are separate from the USA Basketball Junior National Team selection process\, standout participants who demonstrate national-team-caliber ability may be considered for future USA Basketball trials or training camp opportunities. \nParticipants will be provided with a Gold Camp uniform package that includes a jersey\, shorts\, and a backpack\, all of which must be worn during camp activities. Athletes are responsible for covering or providing the following: \n\nTravel to and from the camp facility\nAccommodations and lodging\nCamp registration costs\nAdditional athletic clothing and basketball footwear (USA Basketball supplies only the jersey and shorts)\nA personal water bottle for hydration throughout camp sessions\n\n\n\n  \nDates for the 2026 Pittsburgh Gold Camps: \nGirls Extended Camp – Aug. 13-14\nBoys Extended Camp – Aug. 15-16 \nTo register a player\, visit Gold Camps – USA Basketball

DESCRIPTION:For the third year in a row\, Rize Sports will be hosting Dick’s Sporting Goods Basketball University.\n\nBasketball “U” is an internal event run by Dick’s Sporting Goods (DSG) for training and development of employees who work with basketball products and sales. It brings DSG team members and popular basketball shoe vendors such as Nike\, Adidas\, New Balance and others to learn about basketball footwear and apparel\, receive product training from brand partners and build product knowledge that can be brought back to their stores and teams. DSG team members also have the opportunity to try out new shoes and apparel\, taking part in various basketball related competitions and on-court demonstrations.\n\nThe event is only open to registered Dick’s Sporting Goods employees who have been invited by the company. \n\n\n\n
